Look at the underlying rights
Some companies distribute cash to shareholders, while others do not. Funds may distribute income under their own rules, and an index is a calculated measure rather than a company making a payment. A derivative referencing shares or an index may apply a contractual adjustment. These distinctions matter because similar market exposure can create different rights and cash flows. Read the security or contract description before expecting income.
Confirm instrument-specific treatment
For a live service, check the precise instrument code, ownership structure, event notice and relevant agreement. Ask whether any entry is a dividend, an adjustment or another cash flow, and whether the position's direction changes its treatment. FYLU has not published a list of instruments eligible for such payments or adjustments. A market label or educational article should not be treated as a promise that a future FYLU account will receive income.
