Read the trigger carefully
An inactivity fee is a contractual charge some providers apply after defined conditions are met. The relevant condition might concern trading, login activity or another measure, and those are not equivalent. Read the definition, qualifying period, charge frequency and affected balance. A service should not be assumed to waive such a charge because you receive newsletters, retain an open position or check an unrelated mobile notification.
Keep evidence of activity and notices
Save the applicable fee schedule, account activity records and any notice announcing a change. If a charge appears, compare its date and description with the stated trigger before asking for an explanation. Avoid creating unnecessary trades simply to satisfy a rule you have not understood. FYLU has not confirmed whether an inactivity fee will apply to any future live service; its preview does not create a chargeable financial account.
