Separate identity from account structure
A person may have different needs for individual, joint, business or practice accounts, but those categories are not interchangeable. Additional accounts can also complicate statements, tax records and currency exposure. Before requesting one, identify why it is needed and who will own it. Do not create duplicate identities or use another person's credentials to work around a restriction imposed on an existing account.
Questions to resolve first
Check the provider's policy on linked accounts, residency, verification and transfers between accounts. Ask whether positions, fees and protection arrangements are assessed separately or together, and record the answer alongside the relevant agreement. FYLU has not confirmed eligibility for multiple live accounts. Its preview cannot approve an additional account, merge account records or authorize activity on behalf of a company or another individual.
