Distinguish an order from a holding
An unfilled order has a validity instruction, such as ending after a session or remaining active under specified conditions. Once filled, it creates a position whose duration depends on the product. Some instruments have expiry or settlement dates; others may remain open while contractual requirements are met. Cancelling an unfilled remainder does not automatically close the part already executed, so inspect the order and position records separately.
Check the events that can end it
Read the product terms for expiry, financing, margin requirements and possible closure events. Track corporate actions or contract changes that may affect an existing position. For an outstanding order, check its status after session changes instead of assuming it carried forward. FYLU has not confirmed live order-validity options or holding-period rules. Its preview does not maintain an executable order or establish that a real position remains open.
