Choose a distinct credential
A strong password should be unique to the service so that a breach elsewhere does not expose the same credential. A reputable password manager can help create and store it without relying on predictable variations. Change a password through the genuine security settings, not through an unexpected message. If you suspect compromise, secure the associated email account because it may control future reset requests.
Review more than the password
After changing credentials on a live service, review available session, device and recovery settings and remove access you do not recognize. Preserve evidence of suspicious activity before making further changes if it may be needed for an investigation. FYLU has not established a live password-change function. The login preview and automated helper cannot confirm that a real account credential has been changed or that existing sessions have ended.
