Read the instruction and status
A pending order remains subject to its price condition, validity and the provider's handling rules. It may be a limit or stop instruction rather than a request for immediate execution. Check the instrument, side, size and trigger before assuming that a price near the displayed level should have filled it. Submitted, accepted, working, partially filled and cancelled are different states, and the exact labels vary between systems.
Track changes until confirmed
When amending or cancelling a live order, retain the request time and wait for a final acknowledgement; an order can execute while the change is being processed. Check for partial fills and an outstanding remainder instead of sending a replacement blindly. FYLU's preview does not host working orders or process cancellations. The automated helper can explain terminology but cannot establish the current status of an order held with another provider.
